We just finished our second batch of canned venison with Au Jus sauce. AWESOME! Taste a lot like lean roast beef. Frisco Spices offers the Au Jus sauce in jars. Mike Pullen there [email protected] has an instructional sheet ready to ship out with this Au Jus sauce. If you're been doubtful about canning venison, I guarantee that with this base sauce, it's a mighty good way to put that venison in the freezer to good use. LC

My neighbor canned one up last year. Good stuff and I agree on the taste.

We canned another batch of venison. Using Mike Pullen's method and the Au Jus paste he has, it's better than roast beef! You can check it out at FriscoSpices. Contact Mike at [email protected]
All you need is a pressure cooker, some jars and lids and Mike's Au Just paste to give it the roast beef flavor!
