    I agree, looks like an old reel. However, it really looks like this old fly reel I got that automatically reels in the line (its old and stupid) you pull out the line (as fly fisherman do) which winds a spring, then instead of reeling the slack line in you just pull/push this little handle/button thing and the spring reels in the slack line.

    i was thinking that too .
    but it looks like an S and a D on the first and last letters of the name
    so i could only come up with southbend?????
