Is there any good campgrounds where fishing is pretty good. Mom just bought a big nice tent and is wanting to use it this weekend. Im looking for a place that has a place to swim during the day and pretty good bank fishing at night. Also no longer then 2 in a half hours from indianapolis. Thanks for the help.

there is a place on the outskirts of muncie called fudd's. technically its a pay lake because its private property but my understanding is he only stocks like once a month. really it is a natural lake so don't let that pay lake stigma discourage you. it is off of the 267 exit on 69N. the guy that owns it is really cool and the lake is absolutely loaded with cat, carp, panfish, and some other various species. big ones too. there is plenty of room to camp and there are also trailers there that he rents out. give him a call as i am not sure on the swimming. hope that helps

brookville is a nice family lake. they do have a designated beach area for swimming too.. you may also check into monroe. from indy, monroe is closer, they have a beach also.
