A LOOOOOOOOOOONG TIME AGO I USED A CHUM THAT HAD 2 EGGS,MILK,1 BAG OF ANCHOVIES,2 CANS OF SKIPJACKS, AND COTTON,THAT WAS SUPOSTA BE PUNCH BAIT BUT NEVER WORKED WELL FOR BAITING!

THREW IT OUT AS CHUM AND CAUGHT 3 CATS WITHIN 20 MIN:crazy:

I THINK THE SKIPJACK OR "SKIPPERS" HAD A HUGE ROLE IN THAT BEING EFFECTIVE:confused2:

I THOUGHT ABOUT EITHER USING SOME FISH OIL"SARDINE-HERRING OIL" IF THEY MAKE SUCH A THING, AND SOME PLAIN O FLOUR TO ABSORBE THE SMELL (PASTE) SO I CAN USE IT ON A SPONGE LIKE MY PREMO:confused2:

I GUESS IM HINTING IF ANYONE HAS USED HERRING FOR CHANNELLS OR BLUES AND HAD GOOD LUCK????

Cut or live herring is really good for Blues. I would imagine if you used it in a chum it would draw in the cats because they put off a lot of oils.
