    Allright I am back.....Me my sweetey and two brothers went and took off at 6am drove fer 3/half plus hrs just to goto Cabelas outside St.Lious and I would like to tell you all IT WAS WORTH THE DRIVE FOR A BUNCH OF LUNITIC-PO-DUNK IOWA CATFISHERS.The store is relitivly knew from what I understand and I was kind of impressed with there service.They have a aqauirum that any of us would love to fish and you can't take enough money! I know alot of Misouri BOC members know this and I think anyone out of town that doesn't have the privy of a store near you should consider this one.I am now sold on Cabelas,been to the Bass pro but .........My review on the two are as is.............We got our moneys worth and I don't usualy feel that way...:wink:

    Reno Nevada or Glendale Arizona is along way to go fer you to walk in a store but I will say seeing what you buy and having a salesman that does know what he is talkin about is real nice......and notbe on the phone

    Glad you had a good trip Kenny. I wasn't aware of a Cabelas down there. I haven't been in one yet. I may have to plan a trip soon. Later Andy

    Never been in a Cabelas store but i've spent alot of time and way too much money in the Springfield Basspro. My wife cringes at the thought of me entering such places but i tell her "it's better than the beer joint".

    Brother Kenny;
    I am VERY HAPPY that you enjoyed your trip to Cabela's! I went to my first one, which was the World Headquarters up in Sidney, NE back in 1993 when I was on a cross country tour meeting my sponsors that were helping me to set a 1000 yard+ new world record at the time, to meet a gentleman who was, at that time, one of Cabela's Product Specialists, to personally thank him for sticking with me on the phone with an order for a pair of boots that gave me my hunting back after I had broken my back in several places and had a MAJOR surgery to put most of it back together!
    I've been with Cabela's since 1992 and I am happy to say that this man is still a friend, as is "JC" and even though I have tried "Bass Pro" and they are O.K., it's just not the same and given the choice I will go with Cabela's every time! :big_smile:
    What very few times I have ever had to return everything it was handled very expediently and I've even gotten a couple letters of commendation from them over the years too. :)
    Again, I am GLAD you made the trip, I think you have started a relationship that will now last you the rest of your life.
    Because your so happy with your trip, I am sending you Rep's for visiting a Cabela's store for the First Time! :) Everything you said about your trip is TRUE!! :wink::big_smile::smile2:
    Take Care, If ever I can be of help to you please feel free to PM me.
    Prayers and Best Wishes,
    Fraternally,
    Coyote1

    Me personaly....would recomend Carbelas over Bass Pro.......I went to Springfields Bass Pro and it is a exelent store but I found the service at Carbelas top knotch and there is alot of savings to be had versus Bass Pro so us addicts can appease our fix with more bang fer the buck.
    By the way Andy that store there is prety new.It isn't bad finding so if you decide your gonna go let me know:wink:

    Sounds like you had fun. I've been trying to get back to Cabelas myself. I would rather buy my new rods in store than through the mail. I can't wait to go back. :big_smile:

    Kenny,
    Glad you enjoyed your visit to the new Cabela's down by St.Louis. I'm going to have to take me a trip down there and check it out. As you know,you can never have enough fishing equipment.
