Buying the slightly older model reels

    yeah I have a big problem with my fleet of old Penn reels.
    well a bunch of them got carbontex drags , mostly because when I was cleaning them the originals disintegrated.
    well I didnt write down or make notes which ones got new carbontex...even though I knew I should mark them or something. well you know the drill with the anti reverse dog and flat spring upside down palm get one screw in blah blah blah...
    point is I dang sure aint doing that again on each reel to see which have new drags and which dont ha ha

    How big are the jigmaster compared to a Abu 7000?

    Jigmasters are bigger in size and capacity a 7000 holds 260/20lb mono and a Jigmaster holds 450/20lb mono.

    I have held a few 500s and they are big. I am not a fan of the one screw sideplate detach but hey different strokes.

    Thanks I am reel poor can't stop buying them I have a GTO 220 and another on the way with a 210 and number 9 and high bid on an another 220
