Bullhead catfish

    Anyone know a place on the south side of Indy or Moorsville I could catch some Bullheads? Sister in town and thats all she wants to Fish for. Jeff:)

    I would say find a small creek bout 5 to 6 foot deep slow current.bullheads thrive in slower streams and small lakes.come to griffey lake in bloomington

    Hey Jeff, Why only Bullheads? I personally think
    they are crap for eating. but, to each his or her own! No disrespect .

    Because My sister is from out of town and she just wanted to catch some like when we were kids in the crick. For the life of me I cant find any...Jeff:confused2:

    I can certainly understand that buddy. There's
    nothing like re-living old childhood memories!
    The only places I've caught them consistantly
    has been old farm ponds that I can't access
    anymore. Sorry I could'nt help.

    Not sure how far south you wanna go but Vadallia Lake in Vandallia,Illinois is just loaded with them...They make great Flathead bait....We have caught a ton of them outta there...Good luck with those old Memories buddy...:cool2:

    i would just tell her that you fish for bullheads with live gills now.lol she will be suprised when mr flat comes calling.
