Well, Finally made the first trip to Buggs..

Moderate Success. 3 blue cats, 10, 16 and 17 lbs. Caught them on some jumbo minows.. All in greater than 30ft of water, one in 45ft.

Lots of wind, lots of rain, and some chilly weather this past weekend. The water was muddy above the bridges and a little murky below..

Fished all over the place, but the best luck was in the main river channel itself.

sounds like a decent trip. Hope its not your last. The bite on the blues is really getting to pick up. saw alot of bait flipping in the river tues. morning, the stripers and blues should be right behind them. The rain messed me up on the crappie fishing, but we really need the water. If we keep getting the rain, run towards the rivers and find you some holes. I might try next wk, Ill post up the news.
