Fished today downstream of the Clarksville bridges. We did several drifts across the lake with pretty good success. Bait was a little tough to find, but finally found enough to go fishing. Weather was sunny and in the mid 60s with a 5 knot wind sometimes gusting to 10. Caught maybe 12 - 15 blues in the 4 to 8 pound range on live bluegill, cut crappie, and some small shad. Also caught a 7 pound striper. Not quite a keeper at 24". That was my first striper ever caught. All-in-all, a good day on the water. Thanks to Buggs Island Bait & Tackle for putting us on the fish! Tight lines everyone!!!!!!!!!!

sounds like a good day on buggs to me. thanks for the report. the crappies seem to be the hot stuff this year for bait.
