Finally got a cabin reserved and a tripped planned for late April. Will be fishing the western part of the lake. If you have any advice I would love to hear it!!! Ordered a Fishing Hot Spots map to try to help. If bait is easy to catch I will be a happy man. Is there much of a current in the lake?

You say west side I think you mean near the rivers. not alot of current unless we have some great amount of rain and the water gets up. Bait should not be hard to find in April, try back of coves in shallow water. Maybe catch some live bait and fish at night in the flats near the mouth of the rivers. Good luck

Thanks for the tip. We will be fishing from the mouth of the rivers down to around the bridge by Clarksville.
