Those first 4 scare me a little. I don't think they'll be there long, but it doesn't take long to cause a problem. I just hope it's a good clean race without any big crashes.
They have at least 5 drivers that should in noway even be in that race!!Menard hmmm?He wouldnt even have a ride if it wasnt for daddy,Speed? Has he even driven on a drafting track?Logano,Slice bread may be good but he dosent deserve to be in that race.not for rookies!Stremme, nothing else to say.Allmendinger, whats he done?Casey Mears dosent even have a spot in the 500! why should he get to run for the pole w/o a spot inthe race!and God love him but Robby Gordon, heck this is the only race that he will even be in a chevy.JUst look at some top of the class drivers not even in the race!Newman for one.Thats all thankx for letting me vent!
I have to agree with you on some of your points,Menard,Speed should definitely not be in the Shootout. As far as Logano being a rookie that really doesn't bother me since rookies have won the Shootout before. As far as Stremme I don't have a problem with him because I think in some decent equipment he is not a bad driver. I like Allmendinger and think if he has a car that is competitive he will do a good job. I don't think Robbie Gordon should be in it because after the Shootout he is going to be driving a Toyota the rest of the year. BTW,Robbie will be in a Dodge for the Shootout not a Chevrolet. I agree,I believe there are some awfully good drivers that are not going to be in the Shootout, but that's the nature of the beast that is NASCAR!
It looks like I forgot to mention Mears which I don't really have a problem with,he's a pretty good shoe in decent equipment.
I will be boxing the 88,14or,14 88. Two buddies two chevys.Iam going with a Chevy on the pole
I assume that you believe one of those 2 guys will be on the pole for the Daytona 500? They are a couple of guys I think have a good chance of sitting on the pole. Of course I also believe there are several others that are just as capable as the the 2 that you have mentioned. We'll see how it shakes out Sunday afternoon.
Doesnt seem right that the defending Daytona winner dont get a spot in the Shootout, what a shame. Nascar needs to get away from this owner & mfg crap and put the fastest drivers on the track.
Im picking Denny Hamlin to win the shootout
COME ON MIKEY!!!! WOULD LIKE TO SEE A GOOD SHOWING!!!! rollo
First 25 done and gone and Mikey still in it:smile2:
What do yall think 2 decent crashes and some good driving
:smile2: Mikey STILL in it? Oh, does that constitute DECENT crashes? We might start thinkin' you're a Waltrip fan Gary.
NOOOO! Put the manufacturer war back into it. Manufacturers have played an important role in the history of NASCAR.
They need to bring back the manufacturers points.
It used to be a big deal.
Yikes take that back LOL the only thing Mikey is good at is making funny commercials:smile2::tounge_out:
Jr. will take the lead again in a few laps and win.
Darlin' (that term is a fixture in the south), you might as well hang THAT up. Try workin' at one of the factories, and then decide.
You don't know nuthin' 'bout NASCAR anyway.......phhhtffff, people who build boats and listen to the radio.........
Yep, come on Jr. Think they said they put a wedge in his rear so he drive better now...:smile2:
:smile2: Mike. It was YOU wasn't it? I know I'VE wanted to give him a wedgie a time or two. Good GRIEF Jr., let's get it GOIN' buddy!
Mikey trying to crash Gordon but it didnt happen :tounge_out:
I'll side with Rollo this time, Mikey didn't have nothin to do with that one, that was Gordo got himself in a bad position. :smile2:
Look who's sittin' on the front row.
