I have caught 3 out of Buckeye Lake!!!!
In the last 20 years.Nothin over 15 lbs.Fish for channels and hope a rogue flathead will swim by,but I doubt it

Fish around Cranberry Marsh with nightcrawlers. You will tear up channels this time of year

If Im not mistaken the marsh is a "floating" island

You can't fish off of it but if you can get a boat and fish around it,it is dynamite. You can Park and fish from Liebs Island,Brooks Park,Firemans Park,Fairfield Beach,Mud Island and Sellars Point. All are pretty good but you can't beat fishing from a boat

If you are fishing the same one as me you will be starting at Liebs Island and will have plenty of company, because there are a lot of fishermen right there. Bring some shad with you, because there were none last week. Any structure even that in the shallowest of water will produce, cut shad seemed to be the bait of choice last week though we did catch a few on chubs.

I hope your talking about the Deer Creek Club open it will be at Lieb Iland ramp time is 7pm to 2am check in starts at 5:30 pm $15 a person. The cats are biting great . Nightcrawlers,Shad ,Chubs and Shimp are all working . Cranberry Bog is good alot of the other bays are also good if it was like last weekend fish shallow and keep moving till you find the size you need.
