We all seem to hate that word snow. Just take your time and drive safely. I guess those that hunt and ski/snowmobile ride are wishing for lots. They can have my part. I hate it.

I grew up in Mo. and the snow I can live with the ice is another story but down here when it starts sleeting or snowing I get off the road cause these people can't drive in it just watch out for the other guy and cover your windshield tonight to keep from scraping tommorrow

when i was younger i loved snow and being out in the cold, as i get older i find it harder to get warm when i come in form a cold day of fishing or hunting, the threat of snow sends chills down my spine with the thought going our into it. I moved down form Pa. to N.C and enjoyed the warmer winters but this year it got cold quick, I'm not ready for it. What is going to happen when i even get older i may need to move to Fla. and join the old fokes at the retirement home. "you know how you treat your kids makes the differance in a old folks home with a pond or none " just wanted to throw that in there my kids keep telling me this everytime we go out shopping. back to the cold you stay warm and drink a warm cup of hot tea for me.

I hate it all!!! COLD,SNOW,SLEET, I hate it all!!!

It is 6 degrees out right now and the wood stove has been going for over a month and a half. Ice on the lakes and rivers yuck!

I think cabin fever is going to hurt this year. I have already poured 50 lbs of no rolls, been through all my reels for cleaning and lube. What's left?
The boat has been cleaned and winterized long ago.

I think the thing I like the most about winter is driving in the snow, crazy as it may seem.:confused2:
I guess it gives me the once a year chance to use that button on the dash.

Been back to work up here in Prudhoe Bay Alaska for a week now and the coldest it has been is -25 with a wind chill of -45. Ain't got too bad yet. Course this is about 150 miles inside the Artic circle. The sun went down below the horizon and won't be seen again until late Janruary.
