Brother moving to Virginia

    My brother who is in the navy will be joing the new george washington soon and will be in Virginia for about 18 months, I think North fork area.

    What rivers are there, Are there big blue fish there, Any info at all.

    Do we have other Navy members in Virgina

    He will be in driving distance of some great blue cat rivers, the James, Rappahannock, and the Potomac, plus some lesser known rivers.

    The whole Norfolk area is great fishing. There are flounder right at the base and easy access to the James, Elizabeth, Cheasapeake Bay, Rappahannock and the ocean. It's just a short drive to Buggs Island and back bay as well as Nags Head and the rest of the outer banks.
