I don't know but I know that the fans are feeling like they are in hades at that track. It feels every bit of a 100 out in the sun just a mile or so up from them, so you know it's HOT there.

GONE FISHIN'---The only thing good about the races being here to me, is that no one is at the lake! YEEEEEEEEE HAAAAAAAA

as much as it pains me to say it, kurt bush has to considered the favorite.
if kahne doesn't get himself close to the top 5, he may be out of hope for the chase. and none of the evernham cars looked good in happy hour.

I enjoyed Saturdays Bristol race! I'm a Jr. fan so seeing him start 40th and end up running in the top 5 most of the night and move to 9th in the point standings was good stuff! Matt Kennseth looks like he will be a serious contender for the championship, the #17 is on a roll. Jeff Burton looked good and came up with a huge finish as he was on the bubble. Jeff Gordon had another strong run. A couple of guys who started the race as favorites but ended up with poor finishes include Kurt Busch, Tony Stewart and Mark Martin. Well its off to California and then Richmond. Looks like the only other driver who has a chance to make it in the top 10 is Kasey Kahne.

I'm With Cheryl, It Was A Scorcher Here In Bristol Today, And Like Her I Skipped Town And Went Fishing, I Didn't Have Any Luck Fishing But At Least I Was Away From All This Madness ( Sorry Race Fans But I'm Not Much Of A Nascar Fan ) The 2 Races Here Every Year Are Nothing More Than A Huge Hassle To Me, I've Lived In This Area 28 Years And I've Never Attended A Race, I Get Free Tickets Almost Every Year From My Employer And I Give Them Away, There's No Way I'd Fight That Crowd For That Race. Please Don't Take It Personal But I'm Glad To See The Fans Leave So I Can Get Back To My Nice,Quiet,Peaceful,No Hassle, No Traffic Jam,Slow Pace, Lifestyle. Remember Race Fans This Is Just My Opinion, Please Don't Take It The Wrong Way. GO DALE JR. BY THE WAY THIS IS EARNHARDT COUNTRY !!!

i don't think kahne will make the chase. as i thought, he needed a top 5 finish last nite and didn't get it. eight of the cars that finished in front of him are ahead of him in points. he now has to count on someone that is just ahead of him to have trouble in the next 2 races while he doesn't. it can happen, but it isn't likely.
