This is a rub that I came up with from a basic dry rub,I like to use it on brisket and pork.

    1/2 C brown sugar
    1/2C bbq seasoning
    1/2 C paprika
    2 T black pepper
    1 T garlic powder
    1 t onion powder
    1/4 C cajun seasoning
    1/4 C chili powder

I don't add any salt as the bbq and the cajun seasoning both contain salt i buy the large seasoning bottles at the discount chains and when I empty one ,I use it to put the rub in .
