Brick Anchor

    This is a home made anchor , I made it out of a heavy landscape brick and a joist holder.I wrapped the metal around the brick real tight using a hammer to bang it in shape. The I tightened the metal to metal with self taping screws. I then bent the eyelet up and tied off the rope. She's heavy but it works.

    Great ingenuity Daryl. If she holds, that's all that matters. If down the road you change to a bigger boat, or move to swifter waters, and she doesn't hold anymore, just remember anchoring is more about 'bite' than 'weight'.
