    Hi Folks,
I just wanted to share this receipe.

    Brian's BBQ sauce

    Shopping list

    1/4 cup of crushed Garlic
    1 large ketchup can
    3 can of tomato sauce
1 small jar of mustard ( I like honey brown)
1 1/2 cup of brown sugar
    salt
pepper both black and crushed red pepper
    water
    Striped cane sorhgam
    molasses
    2 oz 100 proof Bourban
1 case of pint mason jars
    1 teaspoon bourbon vanilla Extract
    1/2 cup of cilantro
1/2 cup of real lemon juice

    1.
Always use clean pots and pans!

In a large boiler mix 2 oz of olive oil, 1/4 cup of crushed Garlic, 1/2 cup of cilantro, 1/2 cup of real lemon juice, Ketup, tomato sauce, mustard. Low to medium heat bring to a slow boil, add a quart of water, let simmer and stir for about a half an hour.

    2. Add Sorhgam, molasse, brown sugar, Salt to taste, Black pepper will make it hot? Red pepper is the spicey pepper. Add these slowly and allow at least 15 minutes to simmer before adding more. I start off with about half a teaspoons to prevent over doing it! Keep your peppers (black and red) even.

    3. Cook(simmer) for about and hour do not allow it to stick or burn.
Add the 2 oz of bourbon, add 1 teaspoon of vanilla bourban extract and prepare to pour in mason jars!

    4. Ensure you clean jars, transfer to jars while it its at a low boil.
Seal lid, it will pop when it cools down!

    5. Allow at least 48 hours to age in the jar!
    It gets better with age.

    6. ENJOY!
    a. Add more spice try a whole pepper in each jar. Your choice of the kind!
    b. Pepper corns can add some zest also.

    Brian

Chambers, many thanks! I tried and I liked. I had to deviate though.....The bourbon was replaced with Gentleman Jack. Still good though.
