"Bream" might not last long in the salty water.

I mix herring and bream together all the time. when i carry just bream in my tank i mix the water just like i do when i use herring. i have a 30 gallon tank and i use bait saver or chlorine remover, and 2 to 3 hands of salt. the salt wont hurt the bream it just keeps them frisky and toughens them up.
