A good braided line should last several years. how often do you replace your line. And no I haven't tried budget lines.
Yea, it lasts along time, just dont wanna spend 50 bucks spooling up one reel lol.

I line my long drop setups with 100lb braid.. I need to be able to set the hook on long line drops between 100-125 yards. I use Suffix performance braid, it lacks the gortex thread so it sinks. This year I couldn’t find my stand by Performance braid. I used reaction braid in 50,65,100lb. I landed 20+ flatheads between 20-50lb this season. Honestly other then the Reaction braid shedded a little color on my leveling thumb I didn’t see much of any difference between the two.

I use bargain basement braid from Amazon and have had good results. Some don't seem to be as color fast as others and I did get one brand that soaked up water like a sponge, by the time I got a decent fish landed both my forearms were soaking wet.
My style of fishing does not require much casting, most often I have two suspended rigs and two dragging rigs while free drifting down the river.
I don't recall which brand I ordered from Amazon but after supper I will check my account to see if I can tell.

EDIT: I ordered three different brands from Amazon but I ordered Kast King twice so I must have liked it the best.

I don't waste my time on name brand, expensive braid. Been using ebay/Amazon braid for over 12 years. Some reels still have the same initial braid. I haven't had to replace any spools nor flip them. $30 for 150yds of Power pro or suffix is just outright ridiculous

Reaction is one I used. 50lb. Do not like it as well as some others. One I will not purchase again is an orange one from a reputable companie. First year it faded to white in the sun. Will not buy any green anymore as it is hard to see even in sunlight. So will use yellow tinted line.

Getting ready to buy a big spool of 50lb as all mine are spooled from 5 years ago.

Kastking is the most expensive braid I use anymore...the cheap brands might not be as quiet through the guides or as small of diameter as the bigger names but honestly I haven't had any issues the past few years with the budget stuff
