    ANYONE IN THE OKC AREA BOWFISH? I MOVED UP TO OKC AREA FROM EAST TEXAS AND WOULD LOVE TO FIND SOME PLACES TO BOWFISH!

    HIT ME UP AND LETS GO WHEN IT GETS WARM!

    Shawn, it'll be about another 4-6 weeks, then I'll be hitting Hefner and the north side of Overholser.

    We shot a few buffies last night at the river here in south east kansas so its getting close.Just need a few more warm days to get them moving good.

    The carp are back in he shallows!! We shot 58 last tue. night and probably missed 3 times that many.Still a little rusty with the bow.Here is a picture of a 38 pound buffy i shot that night.

    Its a blast!! I give all the carp to locals who till them into there gardens for fertalizer.The gar and buffalo i clean and eat.Gar meat is really good.It taste like shrimp.The buffalo i cut the back straps off and pretty much taste like a bass.

    i shot some carp with my bow last fall, i can see how it would become addictive. it's a great fun way to get a bunch of cutbait in a hurry!
