anyone here use the AMS Retreiver bowfishing reel? im thinkin about buying one of these and want some feedback on it. also, will it fit an older Martin compound (Golden Eagle i believe) bow? any info on either of these and info on bowfishing for carp/buffalo would be appriciated. thanks

I got one about a month ago and its amazing how flat it shoots. There is no drag so you can shoot as far as you want. It also has very fast retrieval so you can get a lot more shots off in a shorter amount of time. It should fit just about any bow. I highly reccomend it if you bowfish quit a bit.

I have one and I really like it. I had not trouble getting it to mount to an old jennings bow (at least 20 years old) it has almost no drag and the retrieve is really fast. Also is alot nicer than the drum type reels that the line tends to want to fall off of if you tip the bow to far down.
