bottom structure

    Around the KC area what kind of bottom structure do you look for on the graph for blue cats?

    Holes and ledges along outside bends. A lot of times holes at the head of the bend will accumulate debris which can make it even more attractive to the catfish.

    I agree usually if there are deep whole and structure you can find your big fish on the bottom feeding

    Do you fish just above the hole to try to lure them out? Or do you throw into the hole with them? Thank for the info so far. I have cought a lot of cats out of the river but nothing big in my books. The biggest blue was a 15 pounder. My goal this year is a 30 plus on rod and reel.
