Maybe this sounds like a silly question, but I've seldom fished drifting down a current for cats, and was wondering if any of you old pros have a preferred method that works for you, such as slowing the drift with a trolling motor, etc.

Please share with us how to do it...........thanks

trolling motor works good or you can use a drift sock...I like the trolling motor better due to fact of having more control on which way the boat goes........
