I don't recall seeing any of you VA guys signed up for it. I did the last one and it was alot of fun. My big fish was only 15 lbs, but I've grown luckier since then. It would be fun if some of you all signed up. We could talk trash. haha

How do you sign up for the tournaments and how much do they cost.

just curious, I'm way to much of a beginner to start tourney fishing.

Go to this link and read the rules and get signed up. Heck, you spend more than that on 5 snacks, it's easy, fun and most of all you get to know alot of folks on here in the proccess!!!

There is no such thing as too new to fish. While this is a tournament per se, it is more of a reason to meet people online from different areas with a common interest without all the trash of the internet. In other words an online baiting place, not a dating or mating place.

    Welcome to the BOC.

    Can you trash talk?

If you can catch Bass, you can have plenty of bait. If you catch panfish, the same.

If you catch 1-3lb catfish, you are like most of us that have started here.

Here's a secret. I joined in August of 2005 here at the "new" site. To that time the biggest cat I had ever caught was 3-4 lbs.

Because of this site I now catch 6-8 lb fish on average nearly every time I go out. I have been blessed with a 32lb flathead catfish, and just this month a 20, a 62, and a 72lb 8oz behemoth Blue Catfish. My largest channel to date is right at 12 lbs.

So if you like to fish and like to learn, your journey has just begun.

    Once again, Welcome.

Join the online tournament and maybe you'll be on my team. If you are lucky you'll be drawn to a good team, but if you have bad luck you might be drawn to mine.

If you are real unlucky you'll be drawn to that big guy above you, JW.

If you do.... never mind, I don't want to scare you from the site, his avatar is close enough to do that.

You may fish any public water. You cannot fish payponds.

Although the James is very close to shooting fish in a barrel.

    Man, what a fishery!

I found the info. with a little help...

I saved of a bookmark to last Spring's leader board. Just click here: http://www.catfishpictures.net/Catfi...ds/foboard.htm

P.S. Don't tell CatfishBob about this, it might tend to give him a big head.
