I just spent a day in my old jon boat catfishing setting on a pair of seats from basspro, the cheapes about 40.00 bucks and my little butt sure hurts. Is there a seat that will little more comfort? Willing to spend more if there is a good seat out there.

The seats that come with sea ark boats are great seats there only draw back is they hold water in the cusion when they get soaked:wink:

TEMPRESS makes a real good comfortable seat that holds up to my 275# leaning back on it for hours on end...they are about $90

If you have a Cabela's close, go and look in the store's bargain cave. I found a $200 seat on sale for $70 and it was best seat i have ever sat in. I can not remember name and I let it go with my old boat.

I've used those nice folding lawn chairs before. Very nice to sit in for extended periods of time. My only problem was that they took up alot of space in my 14' boat.
