Robert, that's one of my winter chores:crazy: my boat is just sitting in the garage and looks like crap so I get out the vinegar and water, about 50-50 mix, spray down a area good and wipe it off with a rag, depending on the amount you might have to spray it twice:wink:

A little tip I have learned from a fishing guide was to use a mixture of windex and water 50/50 in a spray bottle. Use this after every fishing trip. Works great for removing the scum. Also a good car wax or boat wax helps too for the final detailing.

Simple Green works great for me. Just don't spray it on any decals.:eek:oooh:

I thought simple green myself.... and then I heard the big NO NO

Is not good on the inside of an aluminum boat..... I just use soap and water inside.... on the outside... wd 40 is good on the scum....or I use corrosion x which is expensive to do so.....
