Been meaning to do this for a year now, but finally built a rod holder rack for the boat. It's 2 x 2 steel channel, all welded. Not too heavy, but I could probably pull skiers with it if I wanted to:wink:

It's pretty plain-Jane, the only cool thing about it is that I drilled holes and welded nuts on the bottom of the top rail to take the Driftmasters so I didn't have to fool around with their bases. I'll move the bases to different spots on the boat just to have them in case I want to put a holder somwhere else.

    Thanks,

    Branden

This is the last picture, it's of the way I mounted the rack to the boat. 16" piece of angle. I predrilled it to take 1/4 hardware, set it on the boat, squared it, then drilled through the top rail and through-bolted it with locking hardware.
