This winter I have decide to get my boat back in shape, and have been working on it on the warmer days. I finally got all the old carpet off the aluminum decks and scraped all the glue off (what a CHORE!!). I have been planning on covering the front and back deck surfaces with the light gray Herculiner (brush on truck bedliner). I got the idea from a friend, and checked it out on their site, and boat surfaces is listed as one of the uses.

Does anyone have any experience with Herculiner being used as a surface in a fishing boat? Is it a good idea? Ideas/opinions welcome!

I'll post my pics of my project soon

A number of guys have used bedliner on their decks, with good results. Good surface prep seems to have been the common denominator in successful applications.

A search should turn up the info you're after.
