Boat repair help

    Rubrail: you can probably match it up at West Marine, or a local marine dealer. If you put plywood down on top of the floor and glass over it, you most likely will still have a rot problem in the not-to-distant future; it would be hard to keep all moisture out unless you have a space for it to 'breath'. What is the existing floor, btw?

    I bought a 10 year old Lund Alaskan aluminum v hull. The floor in places is getting a little spongy. The floor is currently marine plywood covered with some sort of rubber/vinyl peddle grain material. Rather than replace with wood, I am thinking about have an aluminum floor put in and then I can forget about it forever. Anybody ever have an aluminum floor put in?
