Quick question guys. My boat sticker is 2010. Does that mean it is good for this year or does it mean it expired on Jan 1, 2010 and I need to renew it?

Kansas Boat Registrations expire every three years from the date of registration.

Renewal notices are mailed approximately six weeks prior to the expiration date. If you have a change of address or have not received a renewal notice by mail, please contact Boating Registration at Kansas Department of Wildlife & Parks.

I just got my renewal notice a week or two ago. Deadline to renew is mid March.
