Scott, Thanks that is a very thoughtful and helpfull post. Here are a few of the KY ramps that I know of in these areas.

KY Boat Ramps on the Ohio River.

    Markland Pool
Craig's creek, 1 mile above Markland dam.

    Mcalpine Pool

Ghent city ramp, center of the town of Ghent.

Carrolton city ramp. Located at point park at the mouth of the Big KY river

Milton City ramp. Located at the Milton Madison bridge on Hwy 36

Westport City Ramp. Located on Hwy 524 in Westport KY

Cox's Park Ramp. Located at Cox's Park in Prospect KY on River Road.

    Cannelton Pool

There is suppossed to be one in Westpoint KY on the salt river. I'm not sure where, I have never been to it.

There is also one at Yellowbanks WMA, never been there either.

Clovercreek ramp outside of Cloverport KY.

Also Cloverport has a city ramp that launches directly into the Ohio off of main street, this one is a bit rough and has poor parking, but with a catfish boat and not wanting to run the mile from clovercreek, not a bad ramp.

These are the only ones I know of. I hope this will help some. Vern

    5. Jaycees ramp in Riverfront Park on Water St. in New Albany

As for the Middle Creek Ramp Old River Road is closed off to traffic why I have no clue. For access to the ramp go on down about 3 miles or so.There will be a sign on your left.

There is also a ramp between Madison and Jeffersonville. Charletown State Park opened one up last year real nice ramp.
