I will be coming to Tunica this weekend and want to know if there are any boat ramps that directly access the river between Tunica and Memphis. Any help with this would be greqtly appreciated.

Mhoon Landing is a pretty good ramp. Turn onto Mhoon landing parkway about 1 mile north of the Blue and White Cafe. Ramp is 3 or 4 miles. Go to the old casino, Splash, and go to the end corner of the parking lot. Probably concrete all the way down. Charles Phillips might be able to tell better what condition the ramp is in, but I'd probably go up there tomorrow if the right opportunity showed itself.

Good luck. Try the outside bends and the straight line current. Ought to be some fish somewhere there!

If it's a camping trip, bring the skeeter scoot, and camp at the park. There are picnic tables under pavillion type shelters, and running water and 'lectricity at each of the, what, 5 campsites??? Try to get one of the ones right next to the bathrooms. The ramp is about 1/2 mile by truck upriver. Concrete as far down as I've been on it.
