The guy at West Side Bait told me that there is now a 25 bluegill possession limit in Indiana. He told me that because of this regulation you cannot catch bluegill with a cast net. Does anyone know if this is true?

I believe that there is a possession limit of 25 crappie/bluegill. I also believe that you have NEVER been allowed to use a cast net for any game fish. They must be caught on rod and reel to be allowed to be used for bait.
