So, how should I fish the Bluegill head? Fishing for channels in a lake, on the bottom or from a float????

You Can Fish The Heads Any Way That You Feel Comfortable Using. I Fish Mine Under A Large Slip Bobber. Good Luck To You

Personally, if the bluegill is dead, I will cut off the head, and leave the endtrails. It not only is a good presentation for the fish, but the endtrails leave a good blood/smell trail for the cats to sense. But, big cats LOVE live bait, as opposed to dead bait.
