blue fish recipes needed

    My coworkers b/f just came back from a trip and she gave me some blue fish fillets. I've never had blue fish. Does anyone have and recipes I can try?

    Depending on the size of the fish and how old it is, bluefish can be a little oily/fishy. Therefore, I generally do something with it to cover the oily/fishiness.

    One easy way to prepare is to put together a simple tomato base sauce (can of stewed tomatoes, add a bit of garlic, some bell pepper, maybe a hot pepper if you like, some black olives...) and cover the fillets with that and bake. Add some grated parmesan cheese on top for the last few minutes.

    I like broiling. But if you're after recipes, go to Google and type in 'recipes' and 'bluefish'; you'll get over 200,000 hits. Gotta be something there that sounds good to you.
