    Not sure about frozen water but here in TX the best blue fishing is in the winter months. Down here the big blues come out when the water gets cold. All the guides down here run their trophy trips in the winter.

    You can catch both Blues and Channels all winter long.:)

    How do you get your lines through frozen water? LOL just kidding man. Yea blues bite all year long if you can find them. The winter time fishin can be a lot tougher but can be rewarding. Good luck and becareful when the waters freeze!
