Does anyone have any ideas on how to fish for blues on Pickwick/Wilson lakes? Going to take a couple trips down there this year and I need some pointers if anyone can help.

Are you after numbers (eaters) or size?

For numbers, I have 3 places; below Wilson Dam, the pipeline crossing just upstream of the Colbert Steam Plant, and the pipeline crossing at Cane Creek. These areas have lots of shad, varying water depths and structure.

For size, stay on Wilson, deep water adjacent to bluff near the dam with cut bait. A good fish finder helps there.

PM me if you need any more info.

I'll have to remember this thread since I go fishing near our farm about 2 miles from Pickwick.
