Can you guys help me drift fishing? I went all day drifting yesterday and all I caught was channels, small ones if that. I know they're big ones where I'm fishing, I just can't catch them. I have a drift socks and the right kind of rigs tied. I am using cut herring and whole live herring. Any ideas? Is it the right time of year? Help, please!

I'm fishing in my local lake Hartwell.

Jason, I brought a thread up that might be of interest to you. It has about everything you'll need to know to drift fish. Vern
