    Hey everyone:

I've been hearing a lot about the flooding up in my neck of the woods, particularly the Blanchard River. Does anyone have any experience fishing this river, in particular, does it hold flatheads? I'd guess it does, but have never really talked to anyone who has fished it.

I live a mile away from the Blanchard. It didn't have flatheads a few years ago but they are starting to show . I have caught a couple small ones ,under 8lbs, but nothing big. It is a very small and very shallow river. The deepest part I have found is 6 feet. It's a good river for eatin sized channels and smallmouth, crappie and rock bass.
