Its an 800 acre lake with stump fields everywhere or should I say forests because even at 45 feet the trees are still sticking up out of the water. Either way I've paddled up down and around this lake about ten times with no luck. Fish finders going off, theres pictures of 40# flatheads on the punch board, and all I can ever get is baitfish. Any Ideas folks??

Pick up some range cubes and maybe set up line before dark

RAnge Cubes? For cattle? Never knew that would attract them. Figuring on seting up a trot line in the stump fields where other boats can't get.

I'd love to see the attachments, but this is only my 3rd post. I'm working my way up to 10. Didn't mean to hijack the thread.

You might want to try bigger bait for bigger fish. I know, I know,...but I actually had the same problem in reverse in fishing too large of bait.

Good luck, and keep us informed of what you find out!
