Went fishing in a pond last Sunday and caught 10 catfish, but I'm not sure what they are. I wish I was more computer literate so I could post pictures, but here is a discription. They were black with white bellies, 12 - 16 inches long, rounded tails, short barbs and whiskers, red gums, large rounded heads, fat throats. The sides were a dark gray with black spots, and anal rays similar to a channel cat. The smallest one was larger than any yellow belly bullhead I've ever caught. I searched the internet and asked a couple of people, and could not positivly id this cat. could it be some kind of hybrid?
