Bird hatchery

    im trying to start a bird hatchery in my backyeard, but i have 2 problems, what bird should i do, and were do i fubd the texas permit to make this legal? i been all over the texas website and cant find anything??? and qhat would be good to breed? (easy, and easy to sell)

    Kevin ,call your local game warden,He should be able to point ya in the right Direction,as for birds,the Pharoe or japanese button are prob the easiest to start with ,of the quail. and Chuckar partridge are easily domesticated. I'd stick with quail to begin with. easy to hatch and raise as well as sell.

    kevin, i would stay away from chukars if you're planning to hunt them, they are not legal to shoot in texas as of now.
