Ihave two of the Bill Dance river combos and I Really like them. They are the 7' 6" with the levelwind. I have put some nice fish in the boat this past year with them. I plan on getting four more for tourney fishing.

good deal. was it the older all white one or the newer white and orange one? i liked the all white ones but the new white and orange felt a little flimsy.

I have the older style all white one, used it maybe 3 times. Now it is just collecting dust. Great rod and reel for the price. I got mine at the end of last season and at Christmas the family got me a Catfish Safari pole and Abu to go with it and after using tht set up once I went and got several more.

Are they casting, or spinning, and what are you asking for them?

I've held the newer models but I haven't used them. They really seemed like a well built rod. I'd probably get the 7'6" H action rod. I dunno, I really like my American Spirit Nite Sticks, I know what they can do and they're about the same price, $45.
