Biggest Fish Ever?

    Just a bit curious and would like to know what the biggest fish of any species you ever caught? I don't think we should include sharks here but hey, it's an open forum and if you want to post up about a shark, so be it.
    I'll start by saying my largest catfish to date on rod & reel was a 53# flathead from Santee Cooper and just this past August I caught a Halibut in Alaska; 5' 9" long and 163#. What a lot of beautiful fillets from that fish!

    Naturally, I would close the thread before realizing I had not posted a complete picture of the halibut - duh! And I don't know how to re-open and add so will post here. Come on, let's see what ya got!

    Mine was a sturgeon I caught last year, 56 inches.
    My second largest was a sturgeon I caught last Friday night.
    Boy they are a fun fight!

    My largest fish landed on a rod and rel was 72# spoonbill. I have no pics.

    The biggest is the blue in my avitar. Around 80# on rod and reel.

    I didn't get a weight on that one, though I would estimate 50-54 lbs.
    That is comparing to one a friend of mine caught about three weeks ago that was 61 inches and we did get a weight of 58 lbs.

    My biggest is my avatar. A bluecat that weighed 46 pounds.
    My biggest flathead is 40 lbs and my biggest channel was around 22 lbs. Cats is all I have ever fished for. All on rod and reel.

    My biggest cat is a 42 Pound Blue that is pictured above in my avatar. It was caught this past march.

    my largest is a flathead from mississippi river near grand tower it was 72 pounds caught on whole shad scaled and cut sides . He was a monster and it was a trip to remember we took several big flats that day between 4 of us .

    Mine had to be about 180 lb. bigmouth sucker---myself! WE all gotta admit, we have all hooked ourself more than once!

    My biggest is Ole' Salty from my pond that I used to own till my wife ex wife got the house in the divorce:sad2:. Ole' Salty is the fish in my avatar. 44.8 lbs.
