Big white perch on Lake Norman

    I caught some white perch this morning (2-25-08) big enough to filet, we will have them for supper along with some stripers and crappie.

    They are in Little Creek, out from the shoal marker in 35 to 40 feet of water. They will look like stripers on your sonar, but they ain't. Also, don't be surprised if a young flathead gives you a pull down. The school of perch is 5 to 8 feet thick and will make some good eating now or bait for this spring. If you can't come now, just PM me and I will try to let you know their location during the week.
