I went down to a local paylake today because of the high river levels....hey you cant blame a guy i wanted some action....not a bad day from a fishing stand point, with a 20 lb blue cat and 8 lb flat head im not complainin'.well as i was leaving i noticed a large river boat sitting just outside the bait house, i decide to check it out, when i look in the boat i see like ten large trot lines with atleast 50 9/0 hooks on each one!!! it also had a huge high quality live well:angry::angry:.. i was so pissed i wanted to just call the DNR right then and there, i then realised that the DNR couldnt do anything about it if they wanted to... they need to catch them in the act. i wont be going back there again!!!!:angry:..RAT

well i was thinking that but the DNR isnt going to waste time tracking down a boat and a truck in this large of an area, unless it was hurting the bass population:angry::angry::angry:..RAT

:eek:oooh::eek:oooh: see there you go that is why we need to stop commerical fishermen from taking trophy fish out of rivers i would bet any amount of money that they got there trophy fish already--i would have seen if they had a storage tank outside the bait house

Was this a "certain" pay lake at River Road in Fairfield?
You know, the gravel pit? Judging by the ground I think it is.

Pretty disgusting. They seemed like legit guys.

Yeah that's the one I'm talking about.
Really cool guys who work up there, just wish they had a better selection of bait. I haven't fished there in years, used to go there all the time with my uncle before I was in my teens.

We never pulled anything out of there. Where were you to snatch that blue?
