Was just wondering if anyone has anything to say about fall fishing the river. Catfish or walleyes or any kind of fish action going on.Was through Flandreau the other day but did not have time to check out the river. But if there is some action there I would make a trip back this week-end. Apprecate any info.

No action on the Big Sioux. You'd have to go to the Chamberlain damn, Big Bend, the James River near Yankton, or above or below the Gavin's Point Dam for flatheads and channels. Chamberlain has blues in November. Above Gavin's Point has flatheads year around. The Sioux has pretty much dried up and gar have infiltrated what's left of it, unfortunately.

I hear the Little Sioux in Iowa is seeing some channel cat action....
