Big Redear!

    Check out this Redear Caught in a community lake in Southern California, it was was caught on nightcrawler and was an average size fish for this lake, we caught many that day.

    YES SIR! thats a nice ear...... lucky enough to have a small lake in the area like that myself, what fun is right, and mighty good on the table also!

    yeah that is a big redear. did you measure its length? i had a 9.5 incher a couple of summers ago fishing for catfish with whole shrimp! thought i was reeling in a small cat.

    When we caught those, we were using a whole live Canadian nightcrawler a 6' ultralight rod&reel 2lb. test line no.bobber no weight, FUN FUN FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:smile2:

    Nice Redear,this time of year or a little later we will start finding them using some crawfish for bait.They are a blast aren't they..

    Yes sir. Thats the size I caught in a lil OK lake ,and a bunch much bigger too,ave was 2 lbs . Nice eating

    That's a great looking fish! Aren't they fun? I think pound for pound they are the scrappiest fish out there!

    thats quite a redear there bigcat. that musta put up one heck of a fight.Ladyfish got it rite when she said pound for pound their the best fighten fish alive.
