Hey guys, I got this eagle claw salt water reel, mostly because it casts really far. I keep 15lb test on it for when I fish the creek to keep the channels out of the garbage they run too. It also has a good drag. It's not the most expensive reel but it with the king kat rod is a good combo I'd say. Anyone else do this??

Nice looking reel you have there I myself have a Shimano Sahara 8000, an Okuma Avenger 65 and a Pflueger President. The pfueger is the smallest of the three. The Shimano Sahara 8000 has served me well has an excellent drag its too bad they don't make them anymore. The Pflueger is pretty smooth and a smooth drag if Pflueger would thicken the bail holder a bit more it would be near perfect. The Okuma just sits in the basement as the bail failed on me after the fourth outing(although i fixed it just cant warrant a bail failure).
